Art Deco Bas-Relief 3D Asset

This project was a personal challenge to create a Bas-Relief sculpture in the Art Deco style, a subject I hadn’t explored before. My objective was to achieve a realistic visual quality while maintaining real-time performance optimization suitable for game environments.

The sculpture was sculpted in ZBrush, then retopologized and optimized in Blender to reduce polycount and ensure smooth real-time rendering in Unreal Engine. Lastly, I did the UV unwrap and created the gold PBR textures using Substance 3D Painter.

This asset will be integrated into a personal Unreal Engine environment map currently in development.
